Brady Palermo and Sterling Andrews of the Llano Fishing Team, led by Captain Alan Palermo, fought their way to the top of the AOY standings and are officially your 2024/25 Anglers of the Year with an impressive 3,977 points. Their season included three top-ten finishes, highlighted by two 3rd-place finishes, an 8th-place finish, and a 13th-place finish.
As Anglers of the Year, they will receive:
- The Faith Angler Network Angler of the Year $1,500 scholarship award
- The FAN “OT Wear Team of the Year” Award, which includes a $700 scholarship and a custom FAN AOY jersey, provided by OT Wear – the Official Fishing Jersey for FAN

It was a neck-and-neck battle all season, as last year’s Anglers of the Year, Ty Gass and Ethan Del Rosario, also representing the Llano Fishing Team, pushed the race all the way to the final event at Coleto Creek.
Ty and Ethan fought hard and delivered an outstanding performance throughout the season, highlighted by two back-to-back wins. Their dedication and skill made for an exciting competition, showcasing the incredible talent within the Llano Fishing Team.
