The FAN Central season is in the books and it has been one we not soon forget. From COVID mitigation plans to no guest allowed to limited anglers in the area. MAN what a ride.

With all the crazy this season there were many, many outstanding memories with Student Anglers catching personal best, to lake records and smiles and memories that will last a lifetime.

Lake Buchanan didn’t disappointment with fun and excitement as 134 Student Anglers would make their way around the Cross and Spurs Cowboy Church Rodeo Arena to show off their catch on finally time this season.

Bo Stubble and Colten Kloesel with Captain Jason Stubblefield with Liberty Hill Fishing Team would take the win with a nice 5 fish limit weighing 15.70 pounds with a nice 6.13 largemouth bass kicker. They both took home a Kistler Graphite Series Rod and some hardware to the trophy case. Oh yeah and some awesome smiles.

Also bringing us some awesome smiles along with their 5 bass bag that would include a 6.26 pound bucket mouth. Was the Bass Club of Champion Team of Cooper Kennell and Eli Christian with Captain James Kennell. They would earn the second place spot with a total weight of 15.15 pounds. They each took home some hardware and a Abu Garcia Revo X Reel.

Representing Liberty Hill Fishing Team in the third spot was the team of Hoyt Brown and Jake Carter with Captain Joshua Brown. Their 5 fish limit tipped the scales at 14.61 to include a 4.13 large mouth. They both took home trophies and an Abu Garcia Silver Max Reel.

Earning the Kistler Big Bass Award with an impressive 7.72 Pound Largemouth Bass was Landon Warr . He and His Partner Cole Martin representing Liberty Hill Fishing Team with Captain Brandon Fults. Landon took home a Kistler Graphite Rod. Well done team.
