Hi FAN Family
FAN is excited to return to Lake Conroe for the 2021 Championship hosted by Visit Conroe and Presented by Berkley Fishing, May 1st &2nd 2021. We will be recognizing the best middle and high school anglers in Central and South Texas and awarding over $12,000 in scholarships and prizes. All qualifiers will receive a free entry to the championship tournament
We are honored to recognize the 2020/2021 FAN Championship Qualifiers
The list can be found on our website under tournaments then select the Central Qualifiers or South Qualifiers
Championship Eligibility and Qualifications.
To be eligible for the Championship, the angler must have fished at least 3 of the 6 qualifying tournaments in either division.
There will be 2 methods of qualifying for the Championship.
- Top 10% of Qualifying Events per division.
- The top 50% of qualifying anglers based on their total points per division.
Registration in now open for all Qualifiers and will remain open through April 26th 9PM
We understand that there will be single anglers that need to be paired with other qualifiers and we will coordinate those efforts to ensure every student that qualifies and wants to participate can.
We need that information as soon as possible. Please email info@faithanglernetwork.com with the student angler’s name, fishing club and if they have a boat/captain. Please include your team advisor in that email.
We have also made arrangements with Fairfield Inn for special rates as Homewood has sold out. They are next door to each other.

Please be sure an see the front desk to receive your FAN launch discount. You can pay for both Saturday and Sunday if you choose. They will give you a pass that you must display.
FAN off limit rules will remain the same. RULE #5
OFF LIMIT PERIOD – Sunday evening at sunset April 25 until Saturday May 1st 6AM for official practice. Everyone MUST be off the water by 3PM.
There will be a mandatory per-tournament meeting at 4PM at April Plaza Marina.
You must check in and get you FAN gift. We will go over all rules and expectations and recognize our Anglers of the Year and a few other announcements.
We will have a crew filming the events during the week and need 1 possibly 2 camera boats for Sunday from launch until about noon. Please let me know if you are interested.
