Faith Angler Network High School Fishing Series 2015/16 Championship
Congratulations to the Student Anglers for qualifying for the 2015/16 Faith Angler Network High School Fishing Series Championship to be held at Volente Beach on Lake Travis April 23rd and the chance to win over $6000.00 in scholarship funds and prizes.
There were two methods to qualify for the 2015/16 Championship

The top 50% of qualifying anglers from each club based on their total points from the 3 qualifying tournaments. If 50% of the qualifying anglers from a club results in an odd number of students, one additional qualifying angler may be included to make an even team. If the club does not have one additional qualifying angler to make an even team of two anglers to a boat, then the individual angler with the lowest points will not qualify for the Championship as all boats must have 2 anglers.
- The second method of qualification is finishing in the top 10% of a qualifying points event.
To qualify for the championship, the angler must have fished at least two of the 3 qualifying tournaments
We will award each first place Student Angler with a $1500.00 Scholarship certificate and each second place Student Angler will receive $1000.00 Scholarship Certificate and $500 for each third place Student Angler. There will be prizes for 3rd – 6th place as well as the Academy Captain Award of a $200.00 Academy gift card for the Captain of the winning team.
Boat Check will be at the Volente Beach on Lake Travis at 5:30 AM – and we will release the boats at safe lite. You may launch at any ramp you choose however; you must be at the Volente Beach dock for check in and take off.
Entry fees and rules will remain the same as the regular qualifying tournaments and you must be checked in at the dock by 2PM.
