From springtime temps in winter to winter chills in spring, we’ve officially surrendered to Texas weather. But nothing could stop the dedication and heart of our anglers!
On Saturday, March 5th, FAN hosted the Last Chance Wild Card Tournament on Lake LBJ, generously hosted by First Baptist Church Marble Falls and presented by Cabela’s Bass Pro Shops.
38 teams suited up in their winter and rain gear, braving the elements for one last shot at qualifying for the FAN Championship. 💪🎣

TOURNAMENT RESULTS
🎉 Wild Card Tournament Results – Lake LBJ 🎉
🥇 1st Place – With a total weight of 15.95 lbs, the Lampasas Badgers team of Rush Greer and Samson Lee, with Captain Veto Resa, took home top honors!
To top it off, Samson Lee landed the Kistler Big Bass of the Day—an impressive 5.93 lb Lake LBJ beauty!

🥈 2nd Place – Representing the Fredericksburg Battlin’ Bass, the team of Jack Gioffre, Dawson Wren, and Captain Sean Gioffre weighed in a solid 14.45 lbs!

🥉 3rd Place – Coming in strong with 14.29 lbs, the Boerne Fishing Team of Ian and Zac Schnupp, with Captain Craig Schnupp, secured third place!
