Faith Angler Network is excited to return to Lake Waco for the 2026 Championship, proudly hosted by:

This premier event will bring together the best middle and high school anglers from across Central and South Texas as we celebrate an incredible season. More than $18,000 in scholarships and prizes will be awarded as we crown our 2026 champions.

Important: This will be a controlled launch. Teams will be released in order based on boat number at Airport Beach Park.
Schedule
- Friday Boat Numbers will be randomly drawn and posted on the FAN Team Leader & Captain Group
- Saturday, May 16 – Optional Practice & Check-In
- All boats must be off the water by 4:00 PM
- Practice: Optional practice day from safe light until 4:00 PM
- Check-In & Ring Pickup: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Airport Beach Park Pavilion
- Pick up boat number cards
- Receive your championship ring
- Sunday, May 17 – Championship Tournament Day
- For anglers unable to check in on Saturday, early check-in will be available at 5:00 and 5:30AM
- Controlled Launch: Teams will be released in order of boat number at Airport Beach Park at safe light
Important Rules & Deadlines
Guide & Waypoint Rules and Off-Limits
- Guide Cutoff: April 17 – Last day guides may be on Lake Waco
- No-Guiding / Waypoint Rule: Captains, coaches, parents, and student anglers may not fish with guides or acquire GPS/fishing locations within 30 days prior to the event (tournament day marks the start of that 30-day period)
- Lake Off-Limits: Sunday evening at sunset, May 10, until Saturday, May 16 at Safe Light
Registration
- All teams must pre-register through the FAN Portal
- Registration Deadline: May 10 at 9:00 PM
- No late registrations will be accepted
Team Pairing Information
We understand some anglers may qualify as individuals and need a partner. Our team will assist in pairing anglers to ensure every qualified student has the opportunity to compete.
