FAN Qualifier Scholarship Award – $1,000 awarded to the winning team at each event (including Wild Card)
Championship Scholarships & Prizes – Over $22,500 in total
$2500 AOY Scholarship Award–
FAN Fishing Derby – A fun, standalone shore event for FAN members (grades 6–12)

Who is Eligible?

Important Rules & Deadlines:

October 3: Last day for any guides to be on Lake Belton
- Boat captains, coaches, parents, or student anglers are prohibited from fishing with guides on the tournament waters within 30 days prior to the event. Day of Tournament = start of 30-day period
- Please read all rules carefully and contact FAN if you have any questions.
This is a trailering event: There will not be a physical check-in location in the morning. Check-in will be done via GroupMe
- Morning Check-In: Once your boat is launched, captains or anglers must send a check-in message in GroupMe when prompted. (Example: Boat #, 1st Angler Last Name, 2nd Angler Last Name)

Safety:

Scales & Weigh-In:

Scales open at 12 PM
All fish must be in holding tanks check in table by 3:00PM
All anglers must check in at weigh-in, regardless of fish caught, to ensure safety

Team Rules:

Only captains and student anglers allowed on boats
Teams must include an adult captain and two qualified students, or they will be disqualified

Registration:

Deadline: Wednesday, October 29th, 9:00 PM CST via online registration and payment only including derby anglers.
Late registrations may be considered for complete teams only and will be added to the bottom of the boat launch sequence
Boat number will be randomly drawn and posted on the FAN Web site and Facebook page no later than Thursday 9PM.

FAN Fishing Derby – Shore Event

What: Fun, standalone fishing event from the shore
Who: All FAN members, grades 6–12
All species- Artificial or live bait
Check in will be 8:30
Quick rules and prayer and first cast at 9am.
Lines out 1PM
Prizes will be awarded on main stage before tournament awards
Membership Required: Must be a FAN Student Member Register here .
- Note you will only register for the FAN membership and sign your waiver here (team leaders can assist)
Entry Fee: $15 per participant
Derby Payment: will be made via Venmo or PayPal

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, October 29th, 9:00 PM CST
If you are not part of a fishing team, we encourage you to find one in your area. However, you do not need to be part of a team to participate in the FAN Fishing Derby.
